We charge fees in accordance with the provisions of the Advocates Remuneration Order,2014 and Advocates (Remuneration) (Amended) Order, 2014. We are however amenable to negotiations especially where a client has a sizeable legal portfolio or needs constant legal representation/ advise. In such instances, we encourage them to make suggestions on the mode of billing and we do accommodate them by tailoring retainer packages vis a vis their needs.

We strive to work hand in hand with our client’s internal lawyers. This will enhance the efficiency and speedy discharge of duties assigned to us.

We consider the security of client’s interest to be of paramount importance and in this regard the firm takes out professional indemnity covers with reputable and properly registered insurance firms to ensure that no loss whatsoever should accrue to the client. We currently hold a professional indemnity cover with a reputable insurance which is available upon request by a client.

Kinyua & Maingi Advocates accounts are currently held with reputable banks with stringent compliance and reporting mechanisms. The firm holds separate office and client accounts as is by law required.
